Guru Ma,

It was great to see you last night and an honor to do the fire.  I’m sure you know this already, but the fire was roasting me!

I am quite well – watching all and watching how quickly the two ends of the stick swing.  As you said last night, “maybe its both ends of the stick that are pushing you towards center”.  That is exactly what I needed to hear and that is exactly what is happening.  Both ends are pushing me towards center; both ends are exactly the same to me now.  Neither end is where I want to be.  Peace for me, rests only in the center and as I cross it on my way to the other end of the stick – that becomes my moment of truth and true beingness.  Each time I pass it, I linger just a little longer in it.  And of course as I leave it while moving towards the ends of the stick, this movement becomes more and more unbearable.  But I realize that this has to happen in order to break the patterns of habitual behavior caused by the swinging and clinging mind.  A true friend always points out the truth...  therefore, suffering is my true friend.

Love to you dearest teacher, dearest Guru...

Thank you for lighting the way – thank you for all your selfless work – thank you for the eternal love you’ve given me and in turn have allowed me to express it back to you...  Through this love, I experience the wholeness of the universe.

Love you,

Nirmala
